Announcements
This week our lesson, titled In the World but Not of the World, was given by Sister Vicki Taylor. President Joseph Fielding Smith tells us that we live in a wicked world and because we have a greater light in our lives, therefore more is expected of us. We had a good discussion on ways that we are unique in the world: the Word of Wisdom, service, keeping the Sabbath Day holy, respecting the name of God, and the way that we dress.
Next week, we will be discussing Chapter 20, Love and Concern for All Our Father's Children.
