General Women's Broadcast

Good Sisters, Just a reminder that [to]night (Saturday, March 29th), is the General Women’s meeting. All women, young women, and girls eight years of age and older are invited to participate. Please note the inclusion of our younger sisters in this invitation. This meeting will provide an opportunity to gather in a spirit of worldwide sisterhood to enjoy messages from a member of the First Presidency and general presidents of the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary organizations. The meeting will be broadcast to the stake center at 6pm. We encourage all sisters, including those of other faiths, to attend. Our stake Relief Society presidency has asked that each ward bring a small display to share their recent humanitarian or community service projects. These displays can be setup in the back of the gym beginning at 5pm. There will be refreshments served in the gym at the conclusion of the broadcast. Brethren – please adjust your schedules as necessary to support the sisters. Thank you for all you.

Sunday Lesson for March 9th

The Bishop wants to meet with all the sisters this Sunday during the 3rd hour.  If you are a sister and teach JR. primary, you will NOT need to prepare a lesson this week.  We will have subs for all the sisters, so you will not need to worry about that either.  We will see everyone on Sunday!   -Primary Presidency

Sunday's Lesson

Hi Sisters, Our lesson this week is Chapter 4 in Daughters in My Kingdom, "A Wide and Extensive Sphere of Action"  Click here for the link to the lesson. Please come prepared to share your thoughts and feelings about the quote from Lorenzo Snow:  "This is what we desire to instill into the hearts of the sisters--to be useful in their sphere and not be discouraged because of difficulties in the way, but trust in God and look to Him, and His marvelous blessings, I will promise you, will be poured out upon you." How can we be useful within our sphere? How are our lives similar to the sisters in the 1800's?   I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Sister Pam Eaton

Child Care in our Ward

Hi Sisters, There are several sisters in the ward that look for someone to watch their children; sometimes looking for a semi-permanent situation and sometimes on an occasional basis. These sisters compensate for the child care. There are a few sisters in need right now so if anyone is interested and willing to help them, please let me know and I can forward the information on. Thank you!

Humanitarian Project: A wonderful Opportunity fir Service

Dear Sisters,   Our service project this month is to help the Syringa House paint the girls bedrooms and help plant a garden.  We are also doing a non-cash paper drive for them of which you can donate too.  Includes (paper plates, napkins, paper cups, plastic utensils, toilet paper, female products, and personal hygiene)  Their address is 1723 S Horton Nampa, Ida 83686, and their phone # is 208-467-5223.  To help with the painting and planting you need to go between the hours of 10:00-2:00p.m. Monday-Friday.  Be sure and give them a call before you head over to make sure their are still openings for your service.  This is also something that your spouse can be involved in. We appreciate all you do.                                                                                                                                                                                 Sincerely, Laurene Wright
