Upcoming Lesson

Hey Gals! I'm excited to be teaching you this coming Sunday.  Please read and study the lesson so that we can strengthen, learn and grow from one another.  Click here to link you to the talk, by Elder Richard G. Scott titled Living a Life of Peace, Joy and Purpose.  As you study this talk please ponder the following questions: - What does character mean to you? How has God used your faith to mold your character? - How do you keep your resolve to live worthily? How do you make sure that the determination in your heart will not be worn down by the pressures around you? - Have you established a set of principles that you guide every aspect of your life- in your home, church service, profession and in your community?  If so, how do you keep to those principles? I look forward to hearing all your thoughts and experiences:) -Meghan Nebeker

Sunday's Lesson

For the lesson this week (Chapter 4: Strengthening and Preserving the Family), I wanted each of you to pick one of the following questions.  Then read that section and find your answer.  1. How can President Smith’s example be a guide in your family life? (Pres. Smith's life) 2. What are you doing to fortify your family against the negative influences of the world? (Section 1) 3.  How does the hope of Eternal life and reuniting with family members influence your interaction with family members? (Section 2) 4. (In section 3)President Smith asks three soul-searching questions. Answer these questions in your mind. As you read this section, consider changes you can make in your life that can improve the feeling in your home.  I can't wait to hear how your search went! http://www.lds.org/manual/teachings-of-presidents-of-the-church-joseph-fielding-smith/chapter-4-strengthening-and-preserving-the-family?lang=eng Vicki Taylor
