Day if service for our community

Hi sisters, This is just a reminder of the Humanitarian service project at Blackhawk. Please arrive at the park in Blackhawk subdivision at 830 am Saturday the 31st (tomorrow). We will be replacing the bark and planting flowers so please bring a rake, gloves, and trash bags if you have any to spare. The bigger the turnout the more quickly we will be done. :) Please note this is for all ward members not just sisters. Thank you sisters!

Relief Society in Action

Hi again Sisters, This is a busy week! :) I have three more items . . . 1) Enrichment Reminder! Come join us Tuesday, June 3rd, 7:00 pm to trade "treasures" Please, please bring things you're not using or you're meaning to take to D.I. and let others shop through them while you shop through their unwanted treasures. Clothes, furniture, ANYTHING! Whatever doesn't get taken home we will take to D.I. for you!! Also - if you have unwanted items in your house but aren't able to come, let us know and we'll come and pick it up and take it off your hands for you. :) (also...refreshments will be served) 2) Boxes The Bowman's are looking for boxes to get packed for their move. If you have boxes you're willing to spare, you can drop them off at the Bowman's home (leave at their door if they're not home) or they are willing to pick them up as well. They are getting their moving truck Monday and leaving early Tuesday morning for Coeur d' Alene. We're sad to see them leave but happy for their new venture! 3) Sister in Need Sister Danner's car is still in the shop and she is in need of rides again to and from work on Monday and Tuesday of next week. She needs to be picked up at 8:40 to go to work and at 2:00 when she is finished with work. If you are able to any of these times, please let me know. Thank you all for all you do and for your willingness to serve one another. It truly is a beautiful thing to witness.

Relief Society Activity

Sisters, Our activity in June is our Treasure Trade on June 3rd at 7pm at the church.  Bring anything you have that you no longer want ( clothes, decor, kitchen stuff, toys, furniture, anything) and come find treasures. There is no nursery, but if you need to you can bring your kids. Treats provided so please come and enjoy :-)

Upcoming lesson

Hi Sisters, The lesson for this Sunday will be Elder Dallin H. Oaks talk from this past General Priesthood session titled "The Keys and Authority of the Priesthood". You can find the article here. Please reflect on the following questions and consider sharing to contribute to the lesson and invite the Spirit. How does Joseph F Smith describe the priesthood and what are priesthood keys? What is our role as sisters under the priesthood and what authority has been given to us? What is our place as wives and mothers in the Eternal Plan? Thanks, Sister Willson
