Dear Sisters,
Today’s lesson came from the following General Conference talks:
The Reason for Our Hope By President Boyd K. Packer
Free Forever, to Act for Themselves By Elder D. Todd Christofferson
Approaching the Throne of God with Confidence By Elder Klebingat
We have our agency and we can choose everyday to apply the Atonement in our lives and receive the blessings that come from doing so.  We have agency, therefore we make mistakes.  Those mistakes require repentance of us.
Elder Christofferson says, “My plea is simply to take responsibility and go to work so that there is something for God to help us with.”

Sister in Need

There is a sister in our ward having surgery. She needs help with some housecleaning on Thursday at 9:30 am.  If there are a few of you available to help, please call Sister Nebeker. In addition, is anyone available to watch her children (ages 5 and 7) for a couple of hours after school on Wednesday and/ or Thursday?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  Call Sister Nebeker for this also if you are available to help.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Sisters,

This week our lesson was given by Sister Shelby Hansen on missionary work and hastening the work.   Elder Ballard tells us that one of the reasons that we hesitate to do missionary work is because of fear. “With the help of the Lord, let me remove any fear you or any of our full-time missionaries may have in sharing the gospel with others. Make the decision to do what Jesus Christ has asked us to do.”  We had a great discussion about fear and how some of the sisters have worked to overcome their fear. Sister Hansen also referenced Elder S. Gifford Nielsen talk and showed the following videos: Sharing YourBeliefs We Are One
